Villa Maria EarthGarden Sauvignon Blanc 2022 ($21)

Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand

ree

Focused on sustainable winemaking, Villa Maria’s EarthGarden wines are grown in harmony with nature, embodying a holistic approach that is better for our soils, our ecosystems and ourselves. No synthetic pesticides or herbicides are used and wildflowers are planted to attract bees and other beneficial insects to the vineyards. These wildflowers were the inspiration for the beautiful label! Lifted aromas of citrus fruits, lime and grapefruit leap from the glass. The flavors on the palate showcase fresh herbs, lemongrass and passionfruit. The intense fresh fruit concentration is balanced with zesty acidity and is perfectly thirst-quenching making this a quintessential New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Lapostolle Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2021 ($16)

Rapel Valley, Chile

ree

Young and expressive; bright and vivid, define the characteristics of Lapostolle wines. The Grand Selection Sauvignon Blanc comes from a special part of the Rapel Valley; in Cachapoal, directly beneath the foothills of the Andes. The vines grow with the cold influence of the mountains and express all the minerality of the vineyards unique stony soil. The wine displays a very clean nose of white fruit, citrus, tangerine and has a smooth palate with a long finish. Perfect for aperitif, seafood and salads.
